Samples, Samples, Everywhere!

Over the past few weeks I have been given a TON of samples to try. I think it's FINALLY time that I blog about them. (Plus, you all like giveaways, right?!)

1. Fiber One Meal Bars

Yum! :)

I got to try these FiberOne Meal bars thanks to BzzAgent, and they were WAY better than I ever expected! I was sent both the peanut butter and chocolate as well as the strawberry greek yogurt meal bars, and I was very impressed. Never having had an energy bar before, I wasn't entirely sure what to think. These bars are packed with tons of protein and fiber (approx. 10 grams of each), two things I always mean to get more of, and (surprisingly) not so packed with sugar! Yay! Truly, I can't say enough good things about these bars! I tried the strawberry greek yogurt bars which, if you don't like nuts, you may not like, but the light flavor of the strawberries and yogurt really balanced these bars out so that they weren't incredibly heavy-feeling in your stomach. (Don't get me wrong, they are not exactly a light snack.) I gave my mom my box of chocolate and peanut butter meal bars to try since I don't really eat those flavors together, and she has loved them too! If I have any qualm with these bars, it would be the crazy list of ingredients. I tend to prefer products with fewer ingredients that I can pronounce AND that I know exactly what they are. Nevertheless, they are delicious!

2. Truvia

I haven't actually tried truvia, because I prefer ACTUAL sugar as opposed to all of the fake sugar that is on the market. My parents are definitely advocates for the Truvia brand though, preferring to use it when baking, cooking, and most especially in their sweet tea. If you know anything about Southerners and their sweet tea, then you know that adding truvia to it is truly no small feat! Crowdtap sent me a few samples to try that I thought I would share with the masses! Maybe YOU can tell me how awesome truvia is and why I should include it in my cooking, baking, and drinks?! (Or maybe you'll pass it on to another family member. It's really your decision if you win it!)

3. Glade Wax Melts

I love wax melts. My mom got me started on it when I was in middle school when she bought me a pretty warmer and some wax seashells from the local mall when it first opened. Walking into that shop overwhelmed your senses with the smells, and it wasn't something you often did especially if you inherited as many allergies as I did. I haven't actually used wax melts since that particular store closed, and I changed the color of my room to blue and moved out of my parent's house. (The wax warmer I had was green.) Eventually I would like to pull that warmer out and use it again, but that won't be for a while…

Anyway, I digress. When Glade (and BzzAgent) offered to send me a coupon for a free warmer and some money off of wax melts, I jumped at the chance! Doesn't everyone want their house to smell like a Glade candle?! Glade offers so many scents that you can choose to have your house smell like apricot one day and cinnamon the next (for example)! These wax melts are not as intricate as the ones I was describing above, but there is just something so lovely and soothing about having an amazing smelling house that you really don't even notice whether your wax melts are cubes, seashells, or leaves. (Plus, if you are really into it, you could totally warm the wax on your stove and put it into ice cubes to cool if you really had to have a particular shape!)

Yes. I highly recommend the use of this amazing product to make your home smell just right for when guests come over last minute or you want to have a relaxing night in the tub. No matter how you use Glade Wax melts, you will truly enjoy them to the last drop. :)
