Over the weekend, Justin and I made some delicious cupcakes for Easter.
We were inspired by
this recipe. Of course, Justin is completely opposed to making anything with a box, so he changed it up by using
Alton Brown's chiffon cupcake recipe, adding malted milk, and using the Swiss Meringue buttercream found in
this book. The cupcakes were delicious and so cute with their little nests and "bird eggs" on top. We also did a few plain with sprinkles. I'm not sure we could have come up with a cuter Easter treat!
