In Honor of My Mom – A Giveaway

Ever since I was little, my mom has always loved the month of December. She would go crazy decorating the house, bake a million cookies, and listen to so many Christmas songs! (Seriously! – All of them!) So when Justin and I told her about a deal to go to an extremely Christmasy place for her birthday, she was all over it. (See picture above.)

In honor of my mom, her favorite month, and all that she has done for me, I have put together a little giveaway featuring a few of her favorite things.

8 winners will receive…

– 1 Klean Kolor Nail Polish (There are 12 colors including every color of the rainbow!)
– Skintimate Shave Gel in Raspberry Rain Scent (It smells wonderful!)
– Celestial Herbal Tea
– Sweet 'N Low Sample

And 2 (of the 8) winners will receive a 4 pack of Schick Quattro shavers!

So how do you enter this awesome giveaway? Start by checking out the rafflecopter below. Through this weekend you can get some additional entries as you guess where we went for my mom's birthday (or until I share on the blog). You have a whole month to enter (because Christmas and New Years are thrown in) and tons of ways to receive multiple entries a day, so get started!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

* Some of the products in this giveaway were originally introduced to me by Crowdtap, but this giveaway is sponsored by me. All opinions are my own.

Oops...I realized I made a mistake in my original recommendation...it was Chocolate Peanut BUTTER cups (Reese's Peanut Butter Cups style) not chocolate covered peanuts bars that I make. I got the recipe for the homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups from Martha Stuart's recipes.

I recommend starting your own family tradition and if you already have one, start another. I learned accidentally that my family enjoys and remembers those times the most during the holidays. One of the traditions our family shares is opening one small gift Christmas Eve, then the rest of the gifts on Christmas Day. My family loves this because it prolongs Christmas :)

  30. I always make special gifts for each family member. Some years I've made ornaments, as my nieces and nephews grew I would show them how to make something special that they could keep or give away. This year I made Colon Cancer awareness earrings for the girls/women and keychain fobs for the boys/men. These were in honor of my mom's recent diagnosis and my Aunt's recent death.

I love spending time with my loved ones.

  40. The best cookies I have ever eaten in my entire life are Dark Chocolate Stars from Trader Joe's!!! But they are seasonal, so you'll have to wait until next year (unless you want to buy them from Amazon, where you'll pay $16 for a $5 box of cookies, which I did because they are just that good)!
