The holidays are approaching fast, so what better time than now to talk about butter?
Honestly, when I think of butter, I think of…
Well, ok. I think of Julia Child. But Julie and Julia works just as well. :) "You can never have too much butter" Julie Powell says as whisks up yet another one of Julia Child's famous French recipes during her journey of self discovery in Nora Ephron's fabulous movie, which you simply must see if you haven't already! However, don't be deceived by the James Farm butter from the movie still; obviously Land of Lakes should be your go to.
Why?
Well, one I know nothing about James Farm. Is that even a real thing? (Google says yes.) Second of all, it's not European. The only butter even somewhat similar to Land of Lakes European butter is Plugra or, in fact, real European butter that you can only buy at speciality stores. I have a feeling even Julia Child would agree with that. Butter can make or break a recipe, so don't go with generic anything. Only buy legitimate melt in your mouth (literally) goodness for your recipes. You won't regret it. :)
So, while there are a million Julia Child recipes I could foresee using Land Of Lakes European goodness on, Justin and I went straight for overkill – a mock up Chili's chain restaurant Ultimate Lava Cake. OMG! Yum!

A cake with a soft, gooey middle plus delicious vanilla ice cream, a hard outer "magic" shell crust and a bit of caramel drizzled on top. Yes, I can totally feel diabetes coming on. :) (That's why you share.)
Other delicious recipes you could make with Land of Lakes butter include…
• French Buttercream
• Brioche
• Sauteed Mushrooms
• Croissants
• Easy Blender Hollandaise Sauce
• Artichokes with Lemon Butter
So what do you think? What delicious things would you make with European Land of Lakes butter?
Along with providing me with my own Land of Lakes European-style butter, I have also been given two coupons to share with my readers for $1 off! If you'd like to try this fantastic new butter at a discount, be sure to enter my rafflecopter giveaway by 10/16!
